This specification is approved for use within the Naval Sea Systems Command, Department of the Navy, and is
available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this specification sheet and
MIL-DTL-24223.

Description: The type LS-397()/SIC loudspeaker shall be designed for mast or deck mounting. The
loudspeaker shall have a rotatable base, enabling the sound to be transmitted in any direction in the horizontal plane.
