MIL-DTL-9415B
3.14.6 Shock. When tested as specified in 4.5.3.10, the loudspeaker complete assembly shall meet both 15g and
30g shock tests. After both sequence of tests the complete assembly shall meet the following requirements.
a. Loudspeaker:
(1) Voice coil impedance variation: Not more than 1 ohm maximum from the initial measured value, except
when measurements are made immediately after hot and cold exposures of the last cycle (see
(2) Sensitivity variation: Not more than ±1 dB from the initial measured value (see 3.4.2.3.2).
(3) Frequency response: As specified in 3.4.2.3.3.
b. Amplifier:
(1) Gain 7.5 dB at 1,000 Hz. As specified in 3.5.1.1.
c. Visual examination: There shall be no visual or mechanical failures (see table IX).
d. The loudspeaker lead connector shall not shift from the initially engaged position with the amplifier pin
terminals as a result of the vibration test.
3.14.7 Fungus resistance. When tested as specified in 4.5.3.11, the loudspeaker complete assembly shall meet
the following requirements.
There shall be no evidence
of fungus growth on the complete assembly at the end of the fungus-resistance test.
3.14.8 Salt fog. When tested as specified in 4.5.3.12, the loudspeaker complete assembly shall meet the following
requirements.
3.14.9 Explosive decompression. When tested as specified in 4.5.3.13, the loudspeaker complete assembly shall
meet the following requirements.
